What more could be said about a book that has been endorsed by the success giants in the literary world, and the stories are already standout winners!

‘it happens- Stories of Human Relationships’ is a charming ensemble of stories that beautifully portray several shades of human emotions and interactions.

Author

An ‘Accidental Author’, as he says, a person who lives by the philosophy of ‘seize the day’ and is passionate about theatre, Mr. Mukherjee is the winner of TOI Write India Seasons 1 and 3, and his stories have been selected in the top 10 winners list of TOI Write India several times. Many of his other stories have been selected by acclaimed authors and publishing brands. An MBA from IIM Bangalore, and with his years of experience at multinational banks in the past, he currently runs his own organization that provides consultancy and learning solutions in the banking domain.

Book Cover and Title

The book cover is alluring to the eye and quite aptly represents the essence of its title and content. The Book title is very profound and expresses the message of its stories fittingly.

Stories

A compilation of fifteen stories, the book is an out and out winner with a fine presentation of human emotions, sentiments, thoughts, and interactions in the most lucid manner. The various aspects of the plots make the readers oscillate from the darkest of realms of human emotions to the brightest of resolute of mindful thoughts. Readers get an immersive feeling of living through the characters.

Creating an orchestra of feelings, the stories are gripping, and the moment the readers drown in the rhythm of the intense characters, incidents, and narrations; they are jolted out with unexpected twists in the tale.

The language and flow are articulate and a treat for the literary mind. The incidents are well-researched and bring credibility to the characters and stories.

While all the stories are heartwarming and thought-provoking, the stories like “In the Eclipse of a Memory”, “A Lament Too Late”, “Karma”, and “To Have Loved and Lost Again” really stood out for me.

Concluding Remark

The book is a complete package to gratify a reader’s mind, heart, and soul. The stories stay with the readers and provide a wonderful reading experience. Every story emanates human relationships and emotions, and yet stand out from each other uniquely. The readers blend with the characters and a feeling of reminiscence keeps hanging once the book is put down. A stirring cascade through a plethora of sentiments weaved magically with beautiful tales, “it happens- Stories of Human Relationships” lives up to its expectation created by the title and is highly recommended.

I am honored to have known Mr. Mukherjee through TOI Write India and feel blessed to have been introduced to his ingenious craft.

The book can be bought at Amazon.
