Buoyant Belgium

As I write my articles for my theme ‘Travel Diaries’ in the tough times of the Covid19 (Corona Virus) outbreak and its repercussions, my heart fills with emotions mounting with each post. I choke up even while penning down my words. Such beautiful places on Earth all over the countries including our very own Incredible India, and all brought down to their knees by a pandemic.

With the gloom hovering over humanity and travel restrictions for our own good, I hope and pray with all my longingness that may we beat this difficult situation soon and spring out victorious, to a world free of this calamity and where we are able to explore the mesmerizing destinations yet again!

Belgium is a perfect holiday destination and has everything for everyone. Here’s presenting a glimpse of some landmark attractions from our pleasant one-day trip to Brussels, the vibrant capital city of Belgium.

Atomium Structure

Walking through the city center and exploring attractions:

Manneken Pis

It is a public fountain just around the corner between bustling tourist shops and appealing waffle stands. There are various legendary stories behind the structure that make it interesting.

Waffles and Chocolates!

The first thing that came to my mind when I read Belgium was Hercule Poirot and then the Waffles. 🙂 Belgium is beautiful. It has been on my traveling list for a very long time. May be some day, it will be off the list..

Yes, I love Belgium. I only visited Antwerp and a quaint beach town De Haan. Both were totally different from each other and beautiful. Brussels looks more like Antwerp.
