Gleeful Greenwich

A Borough in London known for its maritime history, Greenwich is situated at the banks of river Thames. A place worth visiting and exploring!

We all know Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and must have read about The Prime Meridian at some point in our lives.

Prime Meridian & The Royal Observatory

The Prime Meridian is situated in the Royal Observatory, the home of GMT. Discovering the remarkable history behind it and taking an iconic selfie there is very interesting.

A World Heritage Site, National Maritime Museum lets you discover the epic stories of exploration and endeavors at the sea.

Jyoti, since childhood I only read in my text books about this city. But today, my heart is filled with joy and pleasure when I see your trip and eye soothing snaps here. Thanks for taking me in the tour of words to this lovely city. Loved it.

I visited the UK in 2004 and visited several attractions of London. But I missed the Greenwich meridian. It is definitely of great historic and scientific importance.
